Specially brewed with lots of love and care. It’s made with 7 ingredients water, olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, spirulina and 2 kinds of sea kelps aka seaweed.
The addition of sea kelp and spirulina contributes multiple nutrients, minerals, vitamins and anti-oxidants as well as texture to the soap. They provide gentle exfoliation to the skin removing toxins and improving blood circulation which help to prevent acne as well as cellulite. Its also good for dry skin helping it to stay hydrated so it retains moisture longer.
Another great benefit from these ingredients are anti-inflammatory reducing redness, speeding healing and irritation from various skin conditions. Seaweed is said to have the ability to promote collagen, making it anti-aging, firming the skin and reducing wrinkles. Want to use it in your hair? Sea kelp is rich with vitamin E and omega 3, your hair follicles could use these nutrients to stimulate growth, strengthen hair and prevent breakage. So go ahead and skip the shampoo, soap up from head toe with this bar if you could use some of those benefits.
This particular batch we added shea butter for an extra nourishing, healing bar. Both the seaweed and spirulina give this soap the sea green color. There are no essential oils in this soap leaving it naturally to smell like the ocean.
The Goddess of the Sea is a powerful force known by many names throughout cultures as her waters cover most of the earth touching civilizations all over the planet. She surrounds each continent and provides life as we know it. I often work with her as Yemaya an Orisha of Yoruban origin who is the Great Mother and looks over matters of womanhood, children and family. Rub the soap all over your body, visualize the healing waves gently rolling over you and petition the Goddess of the Sea to bless your life.
The soap lathers with thousands of tiny bubbles effectively cleaning as well as being emollient leaving your skin feeling soft, healthy and clean.... kissed by the Goddess of the Sea. Let the soap dry in between uses on a good soap dish away from puddles and it will last a long time.
We brewed this batch on the new moon in November, it will be ready 12/8/20 but you can pre-order it now here. October's batch sold out 2 hours after it was announced ready.
