Pan is the God of the wild woodlands, shepards, hunting and music. He is a satyr in form with a mostly human upper body and the legs, horns and hooves of a goat. Pan is the son of Zeus or Hermes. There are many stories in Greek Mythology of him roaming around Arcadia chasing Nymphs. Pan represents strong male sexuality, often displaying his large erect phallus.  He is often called upon as a fertility God of Spring. He invented the pan pipes and named it a syrinx after the nymph  who transformed herself into the reeds of which he crafted the pipe from.

This is a beautiful detailed representation of Pan with a nicely sculpted phsique doing what he loves.. charming a beauty.  Psyche was a beautiful mortal who worked her way up to a Goddess. She was the wife of Cupid / Eros who is the son of Aprodite, she is shown here with butterfly wings.

This statue is made of resin and bronze and hand painted. 9" tall and 7" wide, 5" deep.

Here is one of my favorite invokations to Pan...

Bye the flame that burneth bright
O horned one
We call thy name into the night
O Ancient one
Thee we invoke by the moonlit sea
By the standing stones and twisted tree
In the grove when the moon is bright
We call thy name into the night
As dark tree branches shake and sigh
With love and joy we know thee nigh
Come to round where the dance is trod
Horn and hoof of the goat foot God!
